要約文(英語/日本語)
Amazon has opened a just walkout lab in Seattle, showcasing their latest technology for cashless shopping. Although the technology was removed from Amazon Fresh stores, it is still in use at stadiums, arenas, and airports. The lab uses machines to create 3D scans of store layouts and shelf locations. This allows Amazon to track which products customers take without passing through a cashier, ensuring accurate receipts later. Additionally, RFID tags enable customers to pick up uniquely coded items and simply walk out of the store.

I'm here at Amazon's just walkout lab in Seattle as the First Media to get an on camera tour of the space they recently removed it from the Amazon Fresh stores but it is all over in places like stadiums Arenas airports other third parties and one of the things they're doing is using liar like this machine is doing here to create a 3D scan of stores and look at shelves to see exactly where products are so that they know when somebody takes a product and walks out without a cashier what they've taken so they can give them an accurate receipt later so another piece of this technology that doesn't use cameras is actually RFID tags so people can come into a store pick up an individual item that has a unique RFID code like this and just walk out
